We are pleased to advertise these excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's leading independent specialist manufacturer's, supplying instrumentation to the water and waste-water industry in the UK and also worldwide via a network of overseas distributors.
Reporting to the Technical Director, this role will involve all aspects of administration and data processing relating to purchasing and production planning.
Creating and maintaining supplier records
Order entry, placement and progressing
Supplier quotation requests
Day to day communication with suppliers
Handle supplier non-conformities
Maintain production schedule
General assistant to the Technical Director where required
Although a background within purchasing and planning is not essential, we do require an individual who has proven administration experience within a similar role/environment and has the capability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail is a must, as is the ability to communicate effectively and confidently with all members of our team.
A good level of IT skills & competence and a positive and flexible attitude with an eagerness to learn is a must.
Spoken and written English skills are essential.
Job specific training will be provided.
This position is based in our St Austell office. The position is permanent and full time.
The normal working hours are 35 hours per week with 25 days per year annual paid leave.
