A Day in the Life of a Partech Employee

Posted by Angus Fosten on May 1, 2016

We’re so very lucky to be based in sunny Cornwall, and we make the most of our surroundings whatever the weather. This month, we thought we’d speak to the Partech team and find out some of their top things to do whether there is glorious sunshine or it’s a disappointing dreary day…

Gyllyngvase Beach Café

On the weekend when it’s excellent weather, the team like to go to Gyllyngvase Beach Café where you can sit with a drink and watch beachgoers while lapping up some sun in the outdoor seating. Pair that with a walk along the beach, a paddle in the white horses, and some pretty shell selecting for a great day trip out.

Truro Cathedral

When it’s raining and the beach scene is grey, there’s nothing better than a wander around Truro’s cobbled streets and a trip to the cathedral. The gothic revival architecture is simply stunning and there’s plenty to see while escaping the rain.

Here at Partech, we love nothing better than a rewarding day at work followed by a Cornish BBQ. Pick up some local sausages and burgers from the farm shop, grab some cold drinks and chill out with friends outdoors as the sun sets – truly the best way to end the day

Early Morning Run

When the summer comes and the sun rises early, we find there’s extra motivation to get up a bit earlier and take a run in the sun. The breeze is cool, the views are great, and the bright mornings really offer some invigoration for the day.

Farm Lunch and Farm Shops

Sometimes a trip to places like Trevaskis Farm is a great way to enjoy some of Cornwall’s finest foods and best produce. Enjoy a roast Sunday lunch with home-grown foods, bask in the gentle glow of the giant dessert counter, take a wander around the grounds and meet some of the resident animals, and pay a visit to the farm shop to pick up some soap, homemade bread, special chocolate or fresh meat and veg!

A day in the life of a Partech employee is really rather great, keep checking back with our vacancies page to see if we have a role you’d like to apply for!
