With over 50 years of design and manufacturing experience, we are rightly proud of our British-built environmentally friendly SludgeWatch 715 Sludge Blanket Detector.

Our user-friendly design is highly portable, simple to use and along with its low cost has worldwide appeal. Things have changed somewhat since our first Sludge Blanket Detector was made back in 1974. No more messy man-handling of tubes containing contaminated waste, the SludgeWatch 715 Blanket Detector is an important health and safety device. Reliable detection is essential to allow operators to de-sludge at the most beneficial time, reducing costs and unnecessary work at a later stage in the cleaning process.

Easy to Use

Simply unwind the cable reel allowing the infra-red sensor to drop into the tank or water-course, once the sludge blanket is reached the audible alarm will change tone and the LED will illuminate your reading. There is no longer a need for estimated readings or making an allowance for human error.

A Green Environment

Useful for both spot-checks and regular monitoring, indoors or out and suitable for septic tanks, waste water treatment plants, tailing ponds, farms, narrow waterways and pontoons. Our monitors are very versatile and can be used in a wide range of situations. The unit can be operated in temperatures ranging from 0 – 40 degrees using standard PP3 batteries which last for about 6 months.

British Built

Contained in a hard nylon weatherproof case and measuring just 280×230×130 mm, light to carry weighing only 1.7kg and easy to store between uses. It comes with a standard 10m cable but can also be supplied with an extended 20m cable upon request.
